I think that's acceptable
Lot of times I try to seek just casual shoes from skate companies myself purely because there are lot of times I can't carry around bunch of shoes and I might end up skateboarding. So I will have shoes I like but that I can skate in as well.
I like lot of Huf shoes for that, Dylans and the Classic His are in my opinion pretty decent just as beaters as well tho they double for skating. Also these but they aren't out yet.
The adidas x palace collabs are pretty cool too.
