The watch industry is weird. >>13929124 is right, manual watches try everything posible to not inovate and to apear luxurious. They are by no means technology, and people who think they are tehnology are deluded, No1 in the old /g/ general knew fuck all about watchmaking or why a chronograph is supose to be a hard complication to make.

I know the watch community doesn't like fashion watches but whoever thinks old school watches are not subject to trends hasn't been paying attention. A rolex from the 70s that is 34mm will not look as good as a new watch today.

People finally realised that watches is just snob fashion, just as much as a burberry coat is.
