So apparent this is the /fa/ version of a QTDDTOT thread?

Alright, so I have a coat (pic related) and I'm thinking of taking it to a tailor to get it slimmed down a bit (kind of tried to demonstrate on the right), I'm also thinking about shortening it a bit so it's more thigh length than knee length. Thoughts?

Also how long would a tailor job generally take? It's -20 outside so I don't want to spend like a month without my warmest coat, if it's like two weeks or so I'll endure but if it's like a month or something I'll wait till summer.
