Passing on a solid mechanical to your child when you die is based.
Throwing away an F-91W when you die is cringe.
I say this as a person with only Casio digitals.
In terms of affordable accuracy, you're right.
This is why I have so many Casio digitals.
But I'm not kidding myself about my little collection.
I'm saving up for a solid mechanical so that I have something to pass on.
I want to give something worth inheriting.
And I don't care what I'm called for that.
