B/c her head is down. if he is 5'7 - 5'8 and she is 5'2 then that is 5-6 inch difference. Which is about half a head in height. Now she has maybe about 3' heels on but her head is down so it subtracts a few inches and his shoes give him .75'-1' height. everything cancels out and there is about 4' height difference.
