So I got some black scuffs on the soles of my rick Ramones, I was wondering what is the best way to remove these marks. I've tried scrubbing with a toothbrush and water, I've also tried using paper towels with water. Neither method has really done much. The best thing that is worked so far was scraping it with my fingernails. However, I'm worried it's scratching up the rubber/plastic (whatever it is) a bit, plus it takes forever. Should I try a harder brush? Or is there a specific product that remove scuff marks from sole?

I definitely am trying to get the soles to yellow, but I don't want black scuff marks all over...I would rather just get a good yellowing and that's it. I haven't used soap at all either, because I don't know if it may affect the soles or the coloring of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I suppose this'll be a shoe care general thread as well!

>ps pic only semi related, have black/ white ramones
