Ah I forgot about the snowflake hands. They do look bad with round hour markers. The Pelagos does it right.

Are you worried about value retention? Because I suspect the BB36 will get a new in house movement soon and that might drop the resale on the then old one a bit.
Pelagos is great but it's a pretty big watch. I'd get a (used) Sneedmaster Professional if I were you.
If you can afford an Omega or a Tudor you can probably also afford a Rolex if you are a little bit more patient. So maybe think about getting an Oyster Perpetual.

Rolex Air King at MSRP
Tudor Pelagos, literally the best Swiss tool diver right now (not explicitly antimagnetic but at least has a silicon balance spring)

>stopped by an AD recently and decided to check out tudors closely for the first time
>really liked the pelagos
>see it in person
>all that text on the dial
why do they do it? it ruins the watch. why four lines? it's practically touching the indice. it's like a fucking island of white on this dial.
did nobody ever stop think "maybe we should let the dial and the sharp, clear look of the watch speak for itself?"

I just one want one nice watch and it's down to a black Pelagos or the Heritage Black Bay chrono. It would be for every day wear. Thoughts and opinions?

What's it like regarding scratch resistance? I've heard that it's more prone to scratches than steel but at the same time is easier to polish in order to remove smaller scratches/swirls. All my polished steel links look pretty worn out and I don't even put them under a whole lot of stress so I'm a bit worried about a titanium link looking like trash after a few months. Perhaps some form of brushed steel would be a better choice for me? I'm contemplating a Tudor Pelagos but the whole scratch magnet deal puts me off.
