Lesson learned I guess. I don't know why this really bothered me, but it did...it's pretty weird. Like, I expected somebody better than me but this kinda shocked me and made me frustrated that she treats him better than she ever did to me. Like, I guess he has something I'm lacking. Maybe I'm just too skinny and I'll see these problems go away as I gain weight. Or maybe I'm just a miserable cunt and I haven't figured it out yet, and that's why my most recent ex and I broke up and she found better.

Regardless, 2014 has basically made it very easy for me to feel okay about leaving my hometown for my next year of college, right up to the end. A fresh change will be nice. Happy new year /fa/, I hope 2015 is great for all of you.

Alright, ordered some more things. Wasn't planning on it, but I had some spare funds since I'm gonna try something else with my 510s rather than buying a new pair. Bought a waffle tee + 3 of the cable knit socks. Will report back on the quality probably by the end of the week if I'm lucky.

Dear god I buy a lot of basics and shit from Uniqlo. But thankfully fall is JUST hitting in Colorado, so I can cop some new outerwear probably in November.

Compared to American Apparel, how are the Supima cotton t shirts?
I have a small in American Apparel that is just barely too small on me, but it has been the only t shirt I've found that isn't boxy as fuck. I've read the Supima shirts are a bit better in terms of fit, but not sure about it. Especially since I have a premium cotton in small that fits me like ass.

Anyone with experience with both wanna help me out?

Got my first real haircut. Popularity obviously didn't mean shit, but boy was it an improvement. I felt attractive as fuck. I looked older and felt better in general.

...eh. I've noticed I've stopped putting in nearly as much effort, and I think I need to find a new person to cut my hair because I just feel like it doesn't look alright. I stated using some of this American Crew light texture to give it a bit of hold, but I don't really know how to use pomade. I also feel I have a weird angle where my hair looks good only on one side. I can't shave necklines, and I am worried about my skin being clear now since my bangs don't hide it anymore. Basically, I don't feel ugly. I have a decent jaw and my genetics aren't that shit. (I feel better seeing a lot of people who post their mug in its own thread asking a stupid question) But ya know, I just feel more conscious about how I look which I think in turn makes me downplay myself. That make sense?
Overall though, I've definitely improved. No contest.

How is being a barista? I just got laid off of working grocery in Walmart, and probably won't be able to get my old job back until March. So I as looking elsewhere, and saw my Barnes and Noble is hiring as a part time barista.
Is it bad? Is it easy to fuck up, or would I be okay? Never been a cashier before. Figure it might help with my stutter if I do.
Gonna try getting a retail job where I can get some nice basics (even Journeys would work) but at this point I'll take what I can get.

Hey /fa/, so I'm looking to upgrade my indigo power stretch I picked up as my first pair of jawns. (It was before I really understood what I Was doing, but I still kinda like them)
So, should I go get some of the deep indigo selvedge from NF, or if I'm willing to spend a bit more is there a better alternative for quality and fit?

hey /fa/ I've worn shoes that are flat my whole life mainly because I was trying to be trendy. (lel pleb) Now that I'm past that, I'm gonna turn my Converse into my work shoe. (Since it is cheaper than buying a new pair for work) So I went out and bought an insert for them. However, the insert really hurts to have in, and made my leg hurt. (Not because it makes the shoe too small mind you)
is this because it isn't a good insert, or is it because I've worn flats for four years? Should I just experiment with inserts? Someone rec'd the Dr Scholls sport one so if it is the case of a bad sole, then I'll give that a shot.
I know I don't have flat feet, so it might be just am not used to them. Should I persevere or what?
