I think you're onto something though in a lot of his older work it feels like he's trying to catch some of the Slavic out of place feeling.

But then he'll just wear stuff like this and that's his thing and he doesn't really seem to get criticized for it.

I didn't want to say this because I could just be a fucking idoit who doesn't get how fashionable it really is, but does he dress like shit ironically and then not dress like shit unironically later.

I mean when you compare him to another musician like prince it could be I'm just really fucking behind and really what yung lean is doing is very clever. but
