I don't know maybe it isn't really. In a way it would be strange that they would put thin leather in what is supposed to be their sturdiest boot. Maybe I've just been gaslighted by American brands. Anyway the only leather boot I've ever owned is the C&J Snowdon and I like it, but it also have a full lining.

Does non-thin leather really bend/crease like this though? Maybe it does I have no idea.
