seems the Marine Original is quite a recent release, but in that pic it looks to have some discolouration on the blued hands, which would indicate age
if this is a recent model, that's akin to the fauxtina effects seen on quite a few other modern watches, which appeals to the pseudo-authentic market, but the closest i ran across on the site was image related which is a bit closer to that 'blinding white' you mentioned

that being said, it's quite easy on the eye in the eggshell white, but that darkened area on the hands would bother me to own, because i'd know it wasn't a natural effect from age, but a pretentious affectation
then again, that 'discolourisation' might just be from a bad photo
