I'm 5'10, 145 lbs, perfectly normal stature, no deformities. I fit snuggly in a 29 waist. I usually get 30x30, though I have a couple pairs of pants I got on sale in a weird 29x32 size. But, they don't squeeze at all, if anything it saves me the trouble of wearing a belt
