Wrong. Bois Imperial is the best woody fragrance on the market. It's high-end niche, but inexpensive. Thanks to Mr. Bisch, the master perfumer, who composed the notes so well together that it probably didn't need to be extremely expensive. Other mediocre niche brands can't achieve Mr. Bisch Level of perfume mastery with good prices later on the market.
Smelling Bois Imperial will show you a photorealistic scene of fresh cut plank of woods. But it's also spicy therefore addicting, there's pepper, patchouli amd akigalawood, literally mouthwatering on a 16k olfactory level of resolution.
