I have a few questions on buying a quartz watch.

1. When the battery goes low on power, does the inner workings of the watch gradually decrease in speed or it just stops?

2. If the inner workings gradually decreases speed, wouldn't it affect the accuracy a lot? How will I know if my watch is low on power?

3. How long does a quartz watch usually stays powered up?
