You have to be persistent with thrift shops. Most visits are a bust, but every now and then you'll come across gold. Check out milsurp stores too. I've seen some anons post some pretty promising amazon and aliexpress finds. Maybe they can post them again.

I'm also in the humid dump that is FL. Look for shirts with interesting textures and maybe consider vests so you can layer and not get too hot.
