Yo, I want to get my first tattoo but only problem is I'm overseas in fucking rural Brazil. My closest city is Belos Horozonte, but I am entirely clueless to identifying a good tattoo artist (only the styles I like). But yeah, other than obvious flaws what do you look out for that makes a shitty tattoo artist (line work, dot work, shading etc). I like b/w, dotwork, some woodcut (if its fairly simple), nothing photorealistic or overly convoluted, and sometimes I like b/w traditional but not particularly so.
