Not OP, but I'm in the process of growing my hair out and striving for about this length. Considering that I'm hunting for jobs as an engineer as I'll be graduating University soon, is there a way to make long/ midlength hair like pic related look professionally acceptable? Or should I just give up and cut it short? I'd like to eventually do the man bun kind of style, as I think it looks cool. Thoughts?

Just grow it out of a HY or something, then slick just slick it back all nice and smooth. All long hair needs is patience.
