hi - sorry for the late response! just got back from work
allow me to clarify: these can be positioned high waisted but because my waist is 27, this draws in too much fabric and scrunches up more than i'd like
here are the trousers at just above my hips, the leg on the left is lifted by the hem drawstring. i'm sure there are many applications for it (drawing it above the calf and letting it fall over to crop it, drawing it in slightly then cuffing, etc)
i want something that fits my waist more naturally. also, really sorry about the shitty picture as i don't have a nice camera set up, let me know if you have any more questions
