whats good /fa/ i have a question. i have pretty damn thick, wavy hair (sadly it's buzzed at this moment) and i wanted to try a gel or pomade to kinda get the slick look when it grows back. i used to put on hair bands and then a knitted hat to hold the front back this last winter when it was long and that was the only way i could make it stay low and slick.

tl;dr what are your recommendations for a gel/pomade/cream that holds down thick but soft hair? and is there a product that doesn't shine?
