When Doc Martens moved all their production to China the original factory kept making docs just under the Solovair brand, pretty hard to find in America but you can get them online for ~200 dollars (solovairdirect.com). They're tough as fuck, beautiful, and definitely worth it. Don't trust cheap ebay shit if you actually do anything you should be wearing boots for.
