Pic related is them when I got them. Biggest quality thing for me was the spot, and a small hair sized dent, but that second one could have been mine. Also, think the right boot might be victim of some loose grain (see the previous pic) but not sure if that's it or just weird creasing.

To my eye, everything looks ok otherwise. I think they're alright. Seems like there's always a problem with boots unless you wanna jump to a high price bracket. But I like the silo of these well enough and its hard to get mad at this point

So I got my oak street lake shores in. I don't think the quality is all that bad looking, but I would have expected a bit more given the price. Otherwise leather feels nice and thick, danite sole, feels a bit tight in the width but my understanding is that cxl stretches a lot.

However -- I'm thinking of seeing if I can return them because while I like the overall shape of it, I think the captoe is in a weird spot. Was thinking of getting their trench boot instead if they'll let me exchange it. What say you, /fa/? Will post pics.
