Obese boomers are the only ones buying luxury watches. The average Patek buyer probably has a BMI of 30.
It's safer and easier for brands to make one large watch that fat slobs will buy and then market it to normal people as a MANLY watch for every body else, than it is to make a normal size watch and fail at marketing it to fat boomers.
Watch brands don't care about aesthetics. They only care about money. Right now the market says obese boomers want 40mm dress watches, and every braindead idiots with 16cm wrists think it's great because Andrew Tate called them a bunch of fags on Twitter.
