Well I do. And the fact Casio or Citizen even exist as a company today means somebody else does too.

A wristwatch is no longer essential, but it's really convenient. Frees your hand from having to hold a phone the entire time and being ablo to check the time any time without fumbling with a phone helps me be more efficient with my time, sounds suilly but that makes the difference between having the time for breakfast before work or going hungry.

I don't think that the concept of a smart watch is inherently vile and sinful, the technology just isn't ready yet. They require charging every day and an awkward shake to wake up the screen. If in 20 years a smart watch can run off solar power i'm buying it but right now Quartz wins.

It all comes down to the convenience of only having to look at my wrist, no maintenance, no attention, no setting time, not a fucking worry in my life. The watch serves me, not the other way around. Oh and it looks cool too, that's a nice bonus.
