the name pretty much gives it away, it's an undercut where the top is marginally longer than the sides making it disconnected, and the sides are all one length (this means no fade)
i prefer this to fades, i think they look much better IMO and nowadays if you ask for a fade in any barber shop they will do that stupid ass geometric hairline meme and you will look like a wigger
