I've been thinking maybe a first omega in space, but I'm on the fence about the leather strap only option. I'm looking to buy something new and keep it indefinitely. I have an op39 at the moment, but I'm thinking about selling it for about $1k more than I paid for it (still used) and getting something I can give to my kid. It's a bit nicer if I can say I worked a bit of over time, went to the shop and bought a decent watch to later pass on, rather than saying I lowballed some weird European on the internet and I bought it for cash in a back alley

I'm not a large watch fan. But I am nearly 2 metres tall and 100kg. I had a Fois speedmaster for a bit and the case size was pretty good on that, but I sold it because I was changing jobs and uncertainty of income, plus I didn't rate the leather strap, it is pretty hot here in Australia and they get a bit sweaty
