Here is first attempt using Fiebings leather dye. I don't recommend this stuff for large areas, and leather worker told me it would be best used for small spots and personal projects where you have raw leather. He said to always get sprays over liquid appliers because they are most likely paint labeled as dye.

I ruined them /fa/ only wore them all fresh for 3 days.

Here is a close up. It is tuff to rub off the original leather's color, but the thinner had already penetrated the coat when I noticed for a good 10 minutes. The leather is grey under the white coat and you can really pick up it's texture when it is bare. I liked it better when it was bare, but tried to use this dye which is more like paint. This does not penetrate to the leather, and instead it just sits on it as you can see here it puddles on the creases with an uneven tone. The sole is easy to clean but the stitching that has been dyed is kind of hard without touching the leather. Anyways here is a close up, and you might be able to see the color of leather through it.
