What would be a good fragrance for a 19 year old without a huge budget? I really like the scent of generic soap and sandalwood. Preferably something that stays close to the skin as I don't like drawing too much attention.

Dressing decently and inoffensively is not hard. Just buy clothes that fit you and that don't have any graphics or patterns on them or any crazy designs. Just dress in black/white/greytones and if you are scared of being judged for dressing to gloomy you can use safe color combinations like navy blue / light blue / brown / dark green...
