Im not suggesting its impossible, its just not a good forum for success. Infact, it probably ranks very near rock-bottom. Some one will always have a story to the contrary, but strictly speaking from the "social acceptability" stand point, i doubt any good looking girls are trying to be awkardly trapped 3 feet away from a dude that just came onto them, for a half-hour metro ride...you dig?
