I was the anon looking for 10" boots that look okay on those of us with skeleton legs
These puppies just came and they fit the bill perfectly. Fuckin' stellar leather quality, zipper is coming in handy a lot more than I thought it would, and it's got a very flattering silhouette. Get them a half size down if you want them.
Only two downsides: a very long break-in period allegedly (mine are still quite stiff but that's to be expected) and the leather around the bottom of the zipper sticks out a bit. It's really only noticeable from the top-down though, and it's not as much of a problem as I expected

I've got these coming in the mail, and because they're zippered I can do whatever crazy shit with the laces I want. Any suggestions? I'd like to wrap 'em around at the top too

Also, should I replace the laces with flatter sneaker-type laces? I love that look on those Ann D high-top sneaker/boots
