So I just bought my first pair of boots, pic related, and realized that despite how good they seemed on paper (literal gore-tex construction), they weren't really what I was going for. Too formal, just not versatile enough for what I wear atm.

Any suggestions on more combat styled boots? Been looking at the SFB 8 in black, but I can't find any fit pics of them

I just ordered these after someone posted them earlier. I think Clarks just started making them and they're pretty affordable, but I get the feeling that the silhouette isn't gonna be too good. I'll find out next week..
