My son lives with his mom in Palatine, where's he's lived almost his entire life. He'll end up going to Fremd HS, which is supposed to be pretty good. I live in Des Plaines because I have to commute to Chicago for work.

I can't believe that (actually i kinda can, but I doubt that would happen around here). It seems like most of the "cool" boys at his school just wore nike sandals with high, knee-high nike socks combined with gym shorts and nike tees. To be honest, it looks pretty fucking stupid. But whatever, I'm not that age anymore. Most youth fashion looks silly to me by now.

ehh...i'm not really into getting him a skateboard. I mean if he asked for one, I might buy him one, but he doesn't seem that interested in it. I don't think he has a whole lot of friends from what I can tell. I'm trying to change that by getting him in some summer camps.
