How do you go from doing "basic" well to /fa/? I've been lurking for a while and I'm becoming more aware of what looks solid and what doesn't, but the practicalities of building a wardrobe are lost on me. If I'm starting to experiment more, am I just buying pieces for a particular fit or should I be looking for versatility?
