Why do these Japanese brands still enjoy such a high reputation? For example, the """"legendary""" SARB line consists of something like 100 shitty watches that are all forgotten except for 3 models.
If I assembled watch parts at random tens of thousands of times, and handful of good models might come out by pure chance. Would that make me a good watch manufacturer?
People shit on JLC for only having one good watch but when Seiko does it, it's fine?
