there is so much overlap between the Middle Ages (ends 1500, conventionally) and "the Renaissance"/early modernity that the fashion blend a bit

dude this is 4chan. i'm just taking the piss, you think anyone would sincerely judge people based on a doodle of themselves?

>poor people are posers
Zara isn't the only option if you're poor senpai. they're knocking off designers, and doing shit interpretations of them at that just to avoid copyright. it's just really lame to support it and it's ugly too.

you don't need to buy labels to have style. you could easily thrift similar fits, especially with some diy.

anyway at the end of the day, fakes & ripoffs are personal. no one's so confident they've memorized every piece put out by a designer to know it's a ripoff and not just one they don't recognize. and for most pieces, the construction and material quality isn't really that obvious to anyone except to the owner. it's only really 'outed' on close examination or if you're asked directly, but who would even ask "is that dries?" etc. irl? nobody does that

except for the fact that zara are tasteless fuckwads that put out ikea tier ripoffs that usually completely ruin what made the originals work. but yeah.
