By the end of August I'll have enough money to finally pursue my vision of reworking my wardrobe. I've been dressing le grungelumbermeme and #workwear for past few years and not only because it's massively overused aesthetic, but likely because my taste has simply changed since I started caring about my appearance.

I've got pretty clear conception of the style(s) I am aiming for.

For clubbing and similar shit that takes place at night, I want kind of a greyscale, very minimalist style of clothing because it fits my surroundings quite well. For school and work, something relaxed like plaewave fits my bill (I like the colour palette and cool sox).

Tldr; My question is, has anybody here undergone similar process? Did you manage to stick to it? I want to avoid trashing the all the newly bought clothes in a year or so, but I guess that's possible if I only buy basics.
