love the retro look, the bright sea-sky colour, how unashamedly it twinkles like a jewel.

that said, my current daily driver is a electric green/teal orient tristar with day/date and I am absolutely enamoured by it. Its such a charming retro shitter and flashes like a faceted emerald in the sun, I can even fall in love with its heavy wobbly rotor that is clearly audible and feels like a mini shakeweight for my fingers. The horizontal scooped textures reminds me of lazy waves lapping on a shore, the colour of tropical sea and sky combined. Its a cheap watch done right, with lots of heart. Love shitters.
