Within reason, yes. It's always worth sampling the nicer stuff to make your own conclusions (buy decants and go to sephora) but it's sorta dependent on clone quality and fragrance.

Like with Creed, I can't tell the difference between pineapple vintage and aventus right down to longevity. And I know some people swear by CDMNI as an even cheaper clone. But since Zara is, well, zara... I think sampling it couldn't hurt.

And from one poor boy to another, take your time. This shit lasts a long time, and there are tons of good fragrances that aren't clones. Look at Hanae Mori him and HM. Cheap and smell awesome. Burberry London is also a favorite (and frankly what stops me from buying HIM)

I don't think Gallagher THAT guy is for me. 5 sprays and after 4-5 hours i can barely smell it on me. It starts off like acid, dried down to a nice pineapple and wood, and is just kind of faint now. I guess i wasn't expecting much but i don't see why people think this smells like memeventus... It could also be me getting used to the scent but after one day seems unlikely.

Thankfully i have 2.5 ml so i can try it again. Gonna try beyond waves tomorrow since its still gonna be warm (70s, still winter)

How do you guys apply those little 1 mL vials you get as samples? And how much? Dabbing doesn't seem to last too long for me but dumping about a third to a half of it on your palm and rubbing it on your wrists and neck seems to work
