Not really. In my own mind perhaps, but you have to acknowledge the distance between your own self image, and the interpretation that other people recieve.

tbh I don't think most people think this hard on it; you either appear normal, or not normal and that's more or less the extent of it.

I wear a fair bit of Sruli and the bulk of the compliments aren't indicative of analytical thought at all on the subject, just 'cool jacket'.
There's a fair bit of background knowledge you need under your belt to be able to digest stuff like this, and nobody cares enough about it to be bothered learning

tl;dr It probably just comes down to 'weird' or s/t, which is fitting enough.
