I would tell you to buy a plain toe Whites MP or Viberg service boot in that case and forget the whole shell thing.

Alternatively, I have saved a picture of Carmina plain toes in Oscar last on Col 8 hatch grain shell. I might order a pair like these one day.

Keep in mind that plain toe shell is a construction challenge of its own and not many makers will attempt it. When pulled, shell has a tendency to create black spots on the toe. Less of an issue with darker colors.

I own Soller it's actually a bit pointy but I like the fit. I think unironically would be a great last to make a black captoe oxford on.
I don't own Oscar but looks certainly less pointy than Soller.
