Opinions on Seiko's kinetic watches?

I didn't really care much about watches until I needed one for nursing. Got a cheap one from amazon.

Had buyer's remorse; walked into a few watch/jewelry shops. Saw this. Fucking beautiful to my untrained eyes.

It was on clearance too for $160. I don't know if that is a decent price, but

Kinetic watch running on quartz. I don't know much about it other than it's like having a dog; gotta walk it daily. Otherwise, I'd end up replacing capacitors for 40-90 dollars.

I'm looking for a watch I can wear on most occasions. Simple, dependable, nice to look at.

Any word on kinetic? Are they a bad buy? Should I buy the automatic watch instead? Any nurses here that can recommend a decent watch for work?
