dyed mine with 4 packs of dylon black dye with warm water and salt in a big bucket

if you want it to be darker you need a bit more than 2 packets and you want the water to be fairly hot with enough salt

if you want it true black get the carhartt one. If you want the pattern to show through and want to save some money get the milsurp one

Personally I love my dyed parka. I originally wanted full black overdyed but I didnt use enough and I still used a lot

hey thanks my initial thought was to do a bit of a dwc/terrorwave hybrid by going for max concealment and spookyness

I had lots more ideas but I really need a nice matching pair of gloves, a few more props, and a better bag to go with

just figure out a way to use the machine dye

spent 2 hours in my backyard stirring a garbage can full of black sludge

was worth it though

those specific ones are a good cotton/poly mix so im hoping the shade depends on your dye methods

I've already dyed a fleck parka or two to taste so im hoping i can achieve the same with random bdu pants as well

currently in a bind where I want to put a patch on it but at the same time want to leave it clean

I dyed mine a couple days ago. Wanted to go jet black but ended up like this. It's still pretty neato though and was a fun project
