I appreciate the work that goes into cutting patterns in dials like this but I'd never wear a watch like that. It looks so clinical and sterile.

Sometimes with the daydates they use stones with different levels of marbling and layers and setimentation and speckles of different color throughout them, and because of the variation throughout the material every piece is unique like a finger print. They don't have to do any kind of fancy finishing or texturing on the dial, they just let the material speak for itself. It's like a celebration of life and nature and the earth.
