I ride scooters and prefer them over bikes most of the time because they're more utilitarian for the city; pegs on the side turns the front floorboard into a flatbed for all your stuff, low center of gravity makes them ride a lot better in rain and on ice, plastics prevent mud and salt from coating everything too quickly, belt drive requires less maintenance and auto clutch makes heavy urban traffic less cancer. if you have to go far, sure cruiser, offroad, sure enduro, but scooters are the most useful even if they are also the least cool

but yeah fuck the actual hobbyists anyway
