Hmmm, I like the idea but I feel like interesting legs require more skill than I have to make. If I could salvage some materials to use them that'd be a good option.

I'm currently planning on making a very skinny C-shape out of dimensional wood. I really only need enough space for a mug and maybe a phone, plus it'd be neat if I could easily move it between my couch and my chair.

Thinking about something like this, but shorter from back to front with more of a square top-view. And made of wood.
