Whats the general consensus on Penhaligon's stuff? Got a sample of Endymion and Halifa, but saw someone posting about Sartorial being good last thread. I like Endymion but h=/halifa is more arab and overpowering.

What would /fa/ reccommend from Penhaligon's? Recently got a couple of samples as a christmas gift. So far I like Endymion and Juniper Sling. Interested in smelling Lothair next time I swing by

What got you guys started on your interest in fragrances? Was it one particular fragrance?

For me, it was a sample of Ednymion by Penhaligon's I got from my Gradparents' house. Before this, I'd worn Armani Code and quite liked it. I remember sitting down once about 3 hours after applying Endymion, smelling the spot I'd applied it and being blown away by the depth and complexity. Had no idea fragrances could be that good.

So I sampled this. I love the lavender and scent in general but the performance is awful. Anyone know of something similar?
