yea, it's very easy to get too basic and drab, especially with black, on that point I do agree with you. Especially during the summer time, when it's hot and you cant layer.

Women's fashion is more forgiving about this than men's.

I guess you are seeing this a lot in the waywt because it's a stage in learning. You can tell normal people couldn't care about their clothing, but the attempt to stray away from graphics so often and move towards the black aesthetic, sometimes blindly following because of lack of knowledge, can look very boring before it's perfected imo too.

I have faith that most of the users will eventually develop discernment and make smart choices, and then probably stop posting so much as they begin to get the items they want and the aesthetic that will make them look professional yet still their own unique form.
