It's not a good picture (I just woke up and hadn't showered yet), but this one shows a red streak in my hair pretty clearly. More obviously my facial hair is ginger in the case of the mustache and kind of speckled in the beard. Generally my hair looks almost black, but that's due to how thick it is; it's more apparently brown in the sun. Anyways, I appreciate the kind words.

You're right to say that I lack Slavic features; the only potentially Slavic ancestor that I have (the one whose surname I carry) was several generations back, I think coming to America in the late 19th or early 20th century. Saying I'm even an eighth Slavic would probably be an overestimate, which is just a tad disappointing since Eastern Europe is quite fascinating to me.

Also, ironically enough, the "Polish" in the filename is just a coincidence; it's the name of the app that I use to crop pictures on my phone.
