What are some nice black shoes with white soles?

I'm particularly thinking of black derbies with white soles, but suggest any sort of low-top that is black with white soles that isn't too expensive.

Thinking of making my own dip-dye sweater. The ones I've seen are black on top and white on the bottom, but I'm thinking of reversing it. But i dunno. Which is better (black to white or white to black) in your opinion, and why?

Also, I'm poor, so what's a good cheap jumper I should get to do this to? I was thinking American Apparel (yeah, I actually like their stuff; sue me), but I was there today and tried on their jumper and it fit all funny (which is odd, because AA stuff usually fits me like a glove... a glove that fits well, not a glove that doesn't fit well... a glove that fits like a glove), so I'm thinking I'll try something else. Uniqlo looks great, but they don't ship to Canada. What else is there that's cheap, but has fine quality for the price (isn't H&M-tier, which will spontaneously combust in sunlight, giving me 3rd-degree burns in the process)?
