I disagree. It all depends on the silhouette of the toe and the quality of the horsehide. Some of the rolling and collapsing effect on some unstructured engineers looks incredible. I'm not even opposed to structured toes, the John Lofgrens imo are a top notch design

Those things look insane lol. They make CN wide lasts with like width D to E, so if Standard and Strange ever restocks the CN Wide Engineers I'm absolutely getting a pair. I have a pair of Mister Lous which are well made boots, but I'm not the biggest fan of the last. The Clinch engineers just look perfect and the combination of the toe shape and the horsehide looks like it can create some crazy rolling patterns.
