I dont know what joey badass looks like, however
My hair doesnt seem to grow and I think it is because of the large amounts of breakage after/during combing (widetooth with sharp ends)
only do this when your hair is wet and/or has product in it. dont do it while your hair is dry

maybe shampoo once a week at the most, but i'd look into co-washing if you want to rinse your hair all the time, and even with that, you could probably co-wash only once a week and be just fine.

i hope you're joking, but if you are infact, being serious, that product is probably terrible, and even more so with your hair type; cease and desist at once, and fine a product geared for kinky/coil hair. personally; black-owned/produced products and companies are the best, but just get something thats actually suited to your hair.

I prefer leave-in conditioner, but i can't exactly say that you're "wrong" here, i know people that have a similar approach and do fine.

personally, i would shampoo every couple of weeks, co-wash every 4-8 days, do a deep condition after a co-wash or use a leave-in conditioner; and then moisturize or refresh every couple of days, sleep on silk, etc
